BMX Park and Street headline four days of international competition on Spain’s Atlantic coast
Registration is now open for Marisquiño Festival 2026, in Vigo, with Adaptive BMX, Flatland and Big Air also joining the Samil Beach program from August 6–9.
Vigo, Spain — June 5, 2026 | Marisquiño Festival has opened registration for its 2026 BMX competitions, taking place from August 6–9 at Samil Beach in Vigo, a city on Spain’s northwestern Atlantic coast.
BMX Park and BMX Street will lead this year’s BMX program, bringing international riders back to one of Europe’s major action sports festivals. Alongside the two headline disciplines, Marisquiño 2026 will also feature Adaptive BMX, BMX Flatland and Big Air.
– BMX Park will feature Pro Men and Pro Women categories.
– BMX Street returns with its open format and Best Trick contest.
– Adaptive BMX will be part of the program for the second year.
– BMX Flatland will include Amateur and Pro categories.
– Big Air will return as one of the festival’s most spectacular BMX and MTB showcases.

Previous editions have brought some of BMX’s biggest names to Vigo. In BMX Park, past winners have included Daniel Sandoval from the United States, Daniel Dhers from Venezuela and Lara Lessmann from Germany. In BMX Street, Courage Adams, born in Nigeria and raised in Spain, has been one of the key names associated with the event
