Vigo, Spain — August 10, 2026 | Russia’s Lera Liubimova won the Pro Women’s BMX final at Marisquiño 2026, finishing ahead of Spain’s Teresa Fernández-Miranda and Japan’s Nene Naito at Samil Beach in Vigo.
Liubimova arrived in Vigo after winning the Women’s BMX Freestyle Park Open at FISE Baillargues 2026 in April. After qualifying second at Marisquiño behind Fernández-Miranda, she moved into first place in the final to take the win.
Fernández-Miranda, the reigning Spanish BMX Freestyle Park champion, finished second. She won the national title in 2025 and had led the Marisquiño field in qualifying before finishing runner-up in the final.
Naito completed the podium in third. The 20-year-old rider finished sixth in Women’s BMX Park at X Games Salt Lake City 2025 and also competed in the 2024 Olympic Qualifier Series.
Marisquiño 2026 took place from August 6–9 in Vigo, on Spain’s north-west Atlantic coast, bringing together athletes from more than 30 countries across its sports program.
