Big ups to Bethany Hedrick, who just landed a new sponsor with Action Sports Gear Brand, Pro-Tec! Considering the impressive list of wins and accomplishments this young rider has racked up over the past few years, Pro-Tec caught a great one! We reached out to Tim at Pro-Tec to get some insight into this exciting new partnership.
“I’m super excited to be adding Bethany to the team. When I noticed she was rocking a Pro-Tec earlier in the year, I reached out to see if there was any way we could work closer together, and then it was a no-brainer to bring her onto the team. Thankfully, she was down, and the rest is history!
When building the team this year, we really wanted to get a group of riders who are all your favorite riders, favorite rider, and Bethany is exactly that. Everyone is just stoked to be around her and watch her ride.
She’s just out there getting after it… constantly putting out content, making big trips for comps, and just generally killing it.
One thing that was really cool and definitely made the decision to bring her onto the team much easier was seeing her out at Woodward with the rest of the Bloom girls stoking out the next generation. I think it’s so important for the future of BMX to have things like that happen, where kids not only get a chance to ride with the people they look up to, but also learn from them as well.
It’s also nice from our side to have one of our team riders wearing something other than a Matte Black helmet haha. If there is anyone who can pull of a bright Gloss Pink lid, it’s Bethany.
