Rena Nonoue’s entry for our 2026 Bloom BMX Video Contest, presented by Sunday and Odyssey. Filmed by: Yuuka Nonoue
“I’m a 14-year-old BMX rider from Japan, riding both Park and Street. As far as I know, I’m the only female rider in Japan who has reached the podium in competitions in both disciplines! 😋 Through BMX, I’ve met riders from all over Japan and had the chance to challenge myself in new places. I want to keep pushing my limits, ride Street around the world, and inspire more girls to enjoy BMX and chase their dreams. I’m a little frustrated that I don’t have many horizontal clips, but I hope you’ll get to see me ride in person someday! And just so you know… I don’t have any sponsors yet! 😊❣️”
Thank you to our sponsors for making this video contest possible: Sunday, Odyssey, Fit Bike Co, Huffy Bikes, Kink BMX, Woodward Camp, and Vans.
