In shocking news, Roam Fest just announced that this year’s event will be their last. We got to go a few years ago, and I personally had the best time. Roam Fest is an all-women’s MTB event and it’s so much fun. There are trails and people to ride with at all levels; you really feel the love, support and stoke from the community. Roam Fest goes on to say:
After nearly 10 incredible years of riding bikes, building community, dancing in the desert, and creating femme-centered outdoor experiences, we’ve decided it’s time to take our final lap.
“This is not a decision we made lightly,” shares co-founder Ash Zolton. “But after deep reflection, we believe it’s the right time to celebrate the Roam community as we shift to our next adventure.”
From that very first gathering in Whitefish to the wild nights in Fruita, Roam Fest has always been about connection, joy, and showing up exactly as you are. Thanks to this incredible community.
Looking Ahead: One Final Roam Fest
The last Roam Fest will take place September 19–21, 2025 in Fruita, Colorado, delivering one last unforgettable celebration of fun, bikes, and community. With the same energy, inclusivity, and sheer joy that has defined Roam’s events for nearly a decade, this final festival promises to be the biggest and boldest sendoff yet.
