UK’s BMX competition series is not only back but now supported by British Cycling. The Backyard Jam recently announced changes to their prize purse structure, stating: “Due to overwhelming support on the event we’ve been able to increase the prize purse and have changed it up. Instead of a single overall cash prize at the end of the season, there will now be a cash prize purse for each event.”
“British Cycling’s support or funding the Backyard Jam shows a real commitment to giving UK riders the opportunity to get their teeth into competing. I can’t stress how valuable even the smallest contests can be as learning stepping stones, and this is creating a pathways for generations to come!”

- Round 1: Asylum Skatepark – 9th April 2022
- Round 2: Rampworld – 14th May 2022
- Round 3: Deeside – 25th June 2022
- Round 4: Unit 23 – 23rd July 2022
- Round 5: Junction4 – 6th August 2022
- Round 6: TBC – 22nd October 2022
