The 2025 UCI BMX Racing World Cup kicked off with an intense weekend of racing in Sarrians, France, on June 14–15 2025. With soaring temperatures and a highly technical track, riders were pushed to their limits in the first two rounds of the season.
In Round 1, European Champion and Olympic medalist Zoé Claessens made a powerful statement by taking the win in the Women’s Elite category. After suffering a broken collarbone in April, Claessens’ return to the top step marks a remarkable comeback—and she’s only just getting started.
Canada’s Molly Simpson followed up with an incredible performance of her own, securing her first-ever UCI World Cup win in the Women Elite class, making it a weekend to remember for North American fans.
