From Hannah Bergemann “I’m stoked to be featured in 2 segments & have had the opportunity to collaborate with the other insane athletes on our team! It’s been an honor to be a part of the whole process of developing this bike, from initial design discussions to now shredding it around the world, in video parts & at Rampage! I think TR knocked it out of the park with this bike & created the ultimate freeride machine”
As kids, we all spent a good chunk of our off-season, evenings, and throughout injuries getting fired up to ride with bike movies. We’d collect DVDs and watch them on repeat until it was light enough to ride or the snow had finished melting. With the release of the Bottlerocket we wanted to create something to showcase how rad our athletes are and what they get up to on their Bottlerockets. This video showcases old and new spots in 6 segments ranging from Peruvian freeride lines to BC loamers as well as a modern day look at “freeride” with some massive FEST jumps in Slovenia. ‘Light it Up’ tries to strike a balance between the style of films we watched our heroes throwing down in and modern-day freeride. Take a peek a this new video of our crew doing what they do best!
Olympic BMX star Sarah Walker has lived through it all: the glory of an Olympic silver medal, the pain of breaking 18 bones, and the terrifying reality of a serious brain injury that changed her personality.
