The Bloom BMX is back with its second annual photo contest for women photographers and we’re giving away a camera from Canon!
Our initiative aims to inspire new creatives and address the gender imbalance in action sports media, where women currently comprise only a small fraction of the population. Our goal is to increase visibility for women and empower them to thrive in the photography industry.
TO ENTER
- Post a photo on Instagram with the tag #BloomBMXPhoto in the caption. Please include one clear submission and not carousels.
- Please also email the submission to thebloombmx@gmail.com, with full resolution for us to repost.
- The theme is “Women’s BMX”. It’s up to you to interpret! Get creative!
- Include a description of your photo in the caption

Contest is open now, last day to submit: Friday October 31st 11:59 PM EST. Winners will be announced shortly after.
The top photo will win:

- The Bloom BMX will be the sole distributor of the prizes. Winner(s) will be contacted by us.

- Who is the contest open to? The contest is open internationally to women of all ages, including women identifying and non-binary photographers.
- How do I know you if you saw my photo? Photos will be liked and saved when seen on instagram. Please make sure your profile is public and to send us a copy of your photo.
- What kind of photo you want? That’s for you to interpret, respect the art, the bike, and shoot what feels right. No selfies.
